Job Overview
Broadway Veterinary Hospital is looking for an outgoing and friendly 'Customer Service Representative' to join our amazing team! This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our clients and their pets, ensuring their needs are met while fostering strong relationships. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service, with a background in veterinary medicine preferred.
Responsibilities
- Working with clients and pets in a professional, warm, friendly, compassionate manner.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities throughout the day.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, and execution of tasks.
- Scheduling and confirming appointments and advising clients of any specific instructions needed for their appointment.
- Checking clients in and out
- Processing voicemail and email messages in a timely and professional manner using proper etiquette.
- Accurately entering information and scanning documents into client/patient records.
- Accurately recording communications for doctors and other staff.
- Assist in project management tasks related to client onboarding and account management.
- Accurately processing financial transactions.
- Assisting with prescription refill requests and food purchases.
- Coordinating with other staff in a professional, positive, and friendly manner.
- Ensuring the hospital lobby area is clean, orderly, fresh smelling, and pleasant for client arrivals.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Customer service experience: 2 years
- Working knowledge of computers
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills
- Outstanding client service skills
- Reliable with excellent attendance
- Available to work assigned shifts: Monday-Friday from 7:15am to 5:00pm or modifications thereof to meet business needs. We are closed on weekends and major holidays.
Ideal Candidates will also have:
- Previous experience as a receptionist or client service representative in the field of veterinary medicine
- Experience with the computer program ezyVet
- The willingness to go above and beyond to provide amazing client service

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
