Brockie Healthcare Inc is seeking a dependable Pharmacy Technician to join our team! This position is for our York institutional pharmacy. Join our pharmacy team in servicing our institutional residents in nursing and assisted living communities. Assist in medication preparation manually as well as learning dispensing automation. We are a family owned and operated company.
We are looking for an energetic, professional, and team-oriented person with a high level of customer service and multi-tasking skill set. Someone with drive and determination. Experience is preferred. Must be team oriented, positive attitude, exceptional work ethic, and flexible.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, dispense, and label prescription medications and non-prescription products for patients
- Perform routine maintenance and routine inspections of the pharmacy to ensure it remains fully operational and to prevent damage to medication or other property
- Conduct inventory counts and keep track of stock levels in the pharmacy
- Work with the Pharmacy Manager to ensure that supplies are on hand and that procedures are followed
- Conduct special projects or tasks assigned by the Pharmacy Manager that may affect the daily operations of the pharmacy
- Maintain an understanding of, and comply with, applicable laws, regulations, and standards relating to pharmacy practice
- Adhere to all applicable policies and procedures of Brockie Healthcare Inc including but not limited to: confidentiality, medication management, inventory control, data management, and safety.
Required Duties-
- Weekends and evenings on a rotational basis as well as on-call weekends which can include Holidays
- Work a minimum of 40 hours per week
- High School diploma or equivalent
