Position Overview Gregor Industries is seeking a skilled Carpenter/Laborer/Painter for multiple project sites across New Jersey and New York City. This position requires someone who can handle multiple tasks efficiently, work independently, and maintain a professional attitude while working evenings and weekends. The role involves both carpentry and painting duties, requiring a solid understanding of the trade, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

What You'll Do

• Follow daily work instructions from the Supervisor and execute tasks efficiently.
• Safely load, unload, and transport materials to and from job sites.
• Perform general labor tasks as needed, including assisting with waste disposal and recycling activities.
• Maintain company material handling equipment and keep work areas safe and organized.
• Conduct routine inspections of facilities, including basic electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Operate manual material handling equipment (hand jacks, carts) safely.
• Perform carpentry tasks such as drywall installation, spackling, and skim-coating.
• Maintain a clean driving record and follow transportation laws when driving company vehicles.
  
  
  

What You’ll Need

• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Own basic hand tools.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends, with some travel to New Jersey and NYC job sites.
