SUBJECT:Work-based Learning Steering Committee
Funds are available to support the formation of a steering committee for the school year 24-25, focused on Work-Based Learning programs. Funds are available through the DESE grant Fund Code 413. Up to 28 members.
QUALIFICATIONS:
•Brockton Public School Faculty Member
•Familiarity with national and state frameworks for Career and Technical Education.
•Familiarity with Vocational, Career and Technical Education Curriculum formats.
•Familiarity with the requirements of the DESE Innovation Career Pathways
•Knowledge of MyCAP
•Willingness to reach out to potential community and business partnerships.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Attend regularly scheduled virtual meetings after school and weekends.
•Review current curriculum and update in standardize format to match the current DESE requirements.
•Establish course offering and sequences.
•Review program offerings and compare with current trends/job outlook to generate viable career pathways for students leading
to certifications, articulations, Dual Enrollment, internships/work experience and/or employment.
•Complete work as assigned to advance the ICP agenda.
COMPENSATION:Contractual Rate
