SUBJECT: Itinerant Special Education Teacher
Minimum Qualifications:
Licensed in moderate disabilities – PreK-8, 5-12
Experience working with students with disabilities using a variety of interventions, accommodations and modifications
Demonstrated ability to administer, score, and interpret educational tests
Skilled in providing specialized instruction and using data to guide services
Experience with alignment of CORE standards to differentiate instruction to meet the individual the needs of students with
disabilities
Knowledge of writing measurable individualized education plans, goals and objectives
Responsibilities
Provide direction instruction at Get You to the Gate (GYTTG )for SWD
Testing and Assessment evaluations for all levels as determined by Director /Assistant Director
Provide tutoring services for SWD on suspension during the day
Reports to: Building Principal and Director of Exceptional Learning
Work Hours: 8:00am-2:30pm
Compensation: According to contract
