Who We Are:
The Brockton Rox are a professional baseball team in the MLB-partnered Frontier League. The Rox are the newest franchise of the Frontier League, but come with a rich history in the City of Champions. The Rox play at Campanelli Stadium, located in Brockton, Massachusetts. Fans and other members of the media can stay up-to-date with all Rox content through their social media channels @BrocktonRox.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the on-field host for pre-game, in-game, and post-game activities, including promotions, fan engagement, and live events.
- Lead crowd participation activities such as trivia, contests, and giveaways.
- Coordinate with the game operations team to ensure smooth transitions between on-field events and the action of the game.
- Engage with fans and create a fun and inclusive atmosphere in the stadium.
- Announce special events, player introductions, and sponsor messages.
- Maintain high energy levels and professionalism throughout the entire game.
- Ensure fan safety and comfort during interactive segments.
Requirements:
- Excellent public speaking and microphone skills with the ability to think on your feet.
- Dynamic and engaging personality with a passion for live entertainment.
- Previous experience in hosting, emceeing, or live event coordination preferred.
- Ability to remain upbeat and energetic for extended periods of time.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays during the baseball season.
