What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server/Bartender position at Broken English Taco Pub?
We are looking for an enthusiastic server/bartender to provide an excellent guest dining and drinking experience. Must be able to provide and create great experiences exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. Compensation includes base wage and tips.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and/or serve food and alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages, for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish server and bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Skills
- Resume and proven working experience as a server and bartender
- Excellent knowledge of service, as well as mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Computer literacy
- Knowledge of a second language is a plus
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the service areas and bar organized, stocked and clean
- Relevant training certificate
