What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender/Server position at Elgin Public House?
We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic and responsible bartenders to join our team! Compensation includes hourly plus tips. Part or Full Time position available. Prior bartending experience REQUIRED. Bartending shifts are 10:30-5 and 5-CL.
You MUST BE AVAILABLE Saturday OR Sunday!
Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
- Interact with customers, take orders and serve food and drinks
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
- Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations
Skills
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Computer literacy
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
