5-Axis CNC Mill Programmer
Key Responsibilities :
- Interpret and analyze complex blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings with a deep understanding of tool selection and fixture usage.
- Develop, create, and optimize advanced CNC programs for 5-axis machining, including intricate and high-precision components.
- Set up and operate 5-axis CNC mills, ensuring parts are machined to exact specifications with minimal supervision.
- Independently program, manage files, and perform edits as necessary to achieve precise part machining per blueprint requirements.
- Configure equipment according to product specifications, selecting the appropriate programs, fixtures, tooling, drills, and inserts.
- Adjust machine controls to vary the depth of cut, RPM, and rate of feed for optimal performance, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Verify conformance to specifications using gauges, micrometers, calipers, and other precision measurement tools.
- Maintain accurate production records, including piece counts and hours of operation.
- Handle and protect products to prevent damage and contamination from foreign object debris (FOD).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following company housekeeping protocols.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
