Full-time, Part-time, and PRN candidates must be ready to commit to full-time hours (3 12hr shifts, 7a-7:30p) during the first 6-8 weeks for orientation.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required to join our dynamic team.
- CNA license preferred but not mandatory – we value your passion to learn and grow!
- BLS certification required by the end of orientation, with ongoing certification maintenance—keeping you prepared for anything!
- Basic medical terminology knowledge will help you shine; preferred but not a deal-breaker.
- EKG mastery—score 80% or higher in Basic EKG to step into the Monitor Tech role and flex your skills.
- EMT program or RMA/CMA certification? We’ll consider that in lieu of formal qualifications. We love diverse experience!
- 1-year experience in EMS, hospital-based care, or military corpsmen preferred. Nursing students in good standing? You’re in the running too!
- 12 Lead EKG Course completion within 6 months ensures you're always ahead of the curve.

Responsibilities:
- Play a key role as a PCA/tech, assisting patients while ensuring top-notch safety and care standards.
- Master the machines—read, interpret, and document critical data from equipment and computers.
- Develop strong partnerships with nurses and healthcare teams to create effective care plans.
- Be ready to step into any role in the unit—your flexibility is key!
- Phlebotomy pro? Perform accurate blood draws on pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
- Transport patients to various diagnostic areas while keeping safety at the forefront.
- Respond to emergency situations like a pro—Air Care helicopter arrivals and disaster situations? You've got this!
- Troubleshoot telemetry equipment like a tech-savvy hero, performing 12-lead EKGs within 5 minutes for chest pain protocol patients.
- Keep the team running smoothly by stocking critical supplies, monitoring battery life, and ensuring rooms are set for key procedures.
- Own the process—document all patient care in EPIC and be an active part of our skill fairs to keep learning and evolving.
- Ensure the environment is always clean, safe, and comfortable for patients.
Additional Info:
- Your growth matters—stay involved with at least 50% of staff meetings and keep your BLS certification up to date.
- Help shape the care for swing bed patients at Bronson Lakeview and South Haven Hospitals with specialized training!
