Opportunity Summary
Bronx Arts Elementary School seeks a School Aide to support the daily operations of the school by performing various clerical activities and student support activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in maintaining student behavior and to meet the needs of individual students.
- Performs clerical duties: copying, filing, and distributing teaching materials such as textbooks, paper, and workbooks, etc.
- Support with procuring materials for special events and/or school activities as needed for the daily function of the school.
- Answers telephones and performs light reception work.
- Makes phone calls to parents, families, or other stakeholders, as needed.
- Completes inventories and stocking supplies.
- Welcomes teachers, students, and parents.
- Performs breakfast, lunch, and dismissal duty.
- Organizes and supervises students during independent work or other activities; facilitate student transitions between activities.
- Performs bus duty, including assisting with monitoring students boarding buses, ensuring that students board their designated buses.

Qualifications :
- High school diploma required
- Food Protection Certificate preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
