Role Description
The Bronx District Attorney's Office is seeking a highly qualified candidate whose diverse background reflects an ability to serve the 1.4 million members of the Bronx County community and pursue a safer Bronx through fair justice. We have a current opening for a Clinical Supervisor/Therapist. The Clinical Supervisor/Therapist will play a crucial role in the Crime Victims Assistance Bureau (CVAB). This position involves supervising and supporting Clinical Staff Team Members and interns, conducting outreach and crisis intervention, managing a caseload, and ensuring quality and compliance in clinical documentation. The role focuses on working with survivors exposed to or victimized by crime, facilitating therapeutic activities, and collaborating with various staff members to advance CVAB's mission. Reports to Director of Family and Children's Services, CVAB.
Qualifications
Candidates must possess and maintain an LCSW NYS License and have at least five years of experience supervising LMSW, LCSW Clinical Social Workers, or LMHCs in crisis intervention and psychotherapy.
• Previous experience in trauma-informed therapy and intervention is desirable.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience working with a diverse urban population of clients.
• SIFI certification and training from an accredited Graduate School of Social Work or Social Services is required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
