As a Commercial Account Executive , you will drive U.S.-based new business in the commercial segment through your outbound prospecting, sales cycle management, forecast accuracy, negotiating, and closing abilities. You’ll be directly responsible for revenue with new business customers you close, through effective handoffs and management of your book. You will be part of a high-performing, professional team that succeeds through collaboration, tenacity, and constant improvement.

What you’ll do

  • Act as a primary point of contact and the face of Checkr for our Commercial champions and economic buyers within your book of business.
  • Full ownership of your book of business, capturing buying criteria, buying process, next steps, key stakeholders, while projecting bookings consistently and accurately.
  • Contribute to team root cause analyses on wins / losses :
  • Expected to communicate lessons learned to peers and cross-functional teams proactively.
  • Strategically align with BDR to execute end-to-end outbound selling motion.
  • Adhere to and help improve the Commercial sales process.
  • Provide account leadership and direction in the pre- and post-sales process.
  • Be the voice of the customer, contributing product and process improvements.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales goals.

  • 2-3 years of B2B SaaS or consumption-based tech sales experience.
  • Demonstrable consistent track record of above target performance.
  • You exceed expectations and hold yourself accountable to a higher standard of excellence.
  • You have a consistent, predictable, and repeatable sales process. You learn quickly and are excited to take on challenging new projects.
  • You are smart, self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and process-oriented.
  • You enjoy planning, executing, winning, and celebrating as a team.
  • You are a clear and direct communicator.

We use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range. If this role is remote, we have listed the top to the bottom of the possible range, but we will specify the target range for an exact location when you are selected for a recruiting discussion.     The on-target earnings range for this role is $122,719 - $144,375 in Denver, CO.
