Your Tasks and Responsibilities:
As the Plant Manager, youll collaborate with the Manufacturing GM and other Plant Manager(s) to build a standardized, high-performing operation. Youll lead a team of Team people across Assembly, Manufacturing, Warehouse, Dispatch, and Maintenance to meet production goals, ensure compliance, and promote a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and uphold the production plan, company policies, and values.
- Improve production efficiencies, safety compliance, and operational costs.
- Enhance employee engagement, retention, and accountability.
- Lead quality control efforts to boost customer satisfaction.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Report key results and KPIs using our Profit.com platform.
- Develop and implement training programs to ensure staff are skilled and knowledgeable, providing ongoing professional development opportunities.
- Conduct performance reviews, set clear goals, monitor attendance, delegate tasks, and manage progressive discipline.
- Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, recognition, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols, conduct regular safety training, and promptly address safety concerns. Manage staffing levels to meet production demands, coordinating with the Production Plan and Maintenance Lead.
Physical Requirements/Environmental Conditions:
- Bending at waist, sitting, kneeling, climbing, walking, crouching as job may require.
- Ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds and remain on your feet during an 8-hour work shift.
- Working at high noise levels.
- Working in high traffic areas while identifying and avoiding any possible risks of harm to yourself, the customer, or to company property.
- Ability to handle high pressure/ time sensitive situations on a daily basis.
- Ability to read programs and manuals, and on road DOT signage.
- Ability to operate and pull pallet jacks.
- Ability to use lift gates attached to trucks.
Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of relevant experience.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Time management skills
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn
