Job Details

As a Project Design Engineer, you will be a key member in designing, documenting, testing, commissioning, and/or bidding on Fire Alarm and electronic security installation projects. Key responsibilities and experience should include:

 

  • Manage respective projects, keeping consistent communication and track of deadlines.
  • Engage with the different stakeholders and vendors.
  • Ability to interpret physical security standards, drawings, bill of materials, request for proposals, and submittal requirements provided by the client.
  • Participate in coordination calls with the engineering team and designated project manager to ensure proper communication and delivery.
  • Support project lifecycle of large-scale construction project.
  • Track revisions, RFIs, and submittals throughout project lifecycle and make sure industry standards are adhered.
  • Hold responsibility for technical submittals for delivering security projects.
  • Primarily lead security design and make sure it meets customer standards.
  • Revit - strong experience required.
  • Certifications including NICET, PMP, PSP and other similar certs including Fire Alarm/PAC/VMS are a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
