Brookfield Renewable Power & Transition Group is looking for an Analyst or Associate, Investor Relations who will report to the Senior Vice President, Investor Relations. You will support the group in presenting its business, strategy and operations to both external and internal stakeholders. This is a dynamic and multi-faceted role that offers the opportunity to develop a strong internal network with investment professionals, finance and operations teams, and senior management across Brookfield’s global offices, in addition to building a strong external network through interaction with private fund limited partners.
The role will be focused on the execution of IR strategies, servicing the Investor base, capital raising for Brookfield’s Renewable Power & Transition strategies, and contributing to content creation and thought leadership across our product offerings. You will manage relationships with colleagues and senior management across the business to implement Investor Relations (“IR”) strategies, build awareness among institutional and retail shareholders, maintain positive stakeholder relations and enhance the Investor base.
The individual selected for this role will play a critical role in maintaining strong relationships with existing investors and strategically growing Brookfield Renewable Power & Transition’s investor base, while being part of a fast-paced and engaging team environment that is at the forefront of renewable power & transition investing. Responsibilities:
The role will be focused on investor relations, communications and capital raising activities for the private funds managed by the Renewable Power & Transition Group including:
$100,000 - $125,000
Our compensation structure is comprised of a base salary and a short-term incentive program (cash bonus). Cash compensation tends to vary based on geography to account for local market conditions and is set to be market competitive. Compensation decisions are based on a number of factors including relative experience, overall years of experience, industry experience, education and designations.

Responsibilities:
The role will be focused on investor relations, communications and capital raising activities for the private funds managed by the Renewable Power & Transition Group including:
- Taking a leading role and being responsible for developing and maintaining investor onboarding, Investor Portal and ongoing communications processes
- Provide oversight of the Brookfield Transition Funds Investor inquiry inbox, communicating directly with investors and internal stakeholders to fulfill a variety of investor queries which may include RFIs, RFPs, DDQs and ad-hoc requests by utilizing all internal and external resources to provide responses to all routine and non-routine questions
- Coordinate and manage the preparation and dissemination of IR materials, internal communications for major transactions and capital raising initiatives
- Coordinate and prepare for quarterly conference calls/webcasts with private fund investors
- Coordinate road shows, conferences, investor meetings, and asset tours
- Working with peers in other Brookfield platforms to identify best practices to ensure quality and consistency of IR materials
- Assisting with strategic initiatives across other IR functions within the Renewable Power & Transition group
- Planning and coordination of special projects and events, including Annual Brookfield Global Investor Conference
- Support other various investor relations initiatives as required
- At least two years of relevant work experience with an undergraduate university degree preferably in finance, business or economics; solid understanding and interest in financial markets and renewable energy sector
- Preference for working towards or completion of a professional designation (CPA/CA; CFA)
- A solid understanding of private equity investment structures, basic financial reporting metrics, institutional investors
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a particular strength in dealing with a wide variety of individuals at various levels within and outside of the organization
- Self-motivated, proactive and demonstrates initiative
- Advanced quantitative and analytical abilities
- Strong organizational skills and extreme attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle confidential and non-routine information
- Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated capacity to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands
