Citywide Supervision and Doula Development
- Assist the citywide agencies with recruiting, screening, and supervising doula contractors.
- Identify training needs and opportunities focused on specific agency needs.
- Coach staff in working with healthcare and social service providers within their designated communities to ensure service delivery of labor and postpartum doula services.
- Knowledgeable of reproductive health care system within underserved populations that focus on the various social determinants that prevent access to equitable care.
- Knowledgeable of healthy women, healthy futures program goals as a coalition.
- Knowledgeable of doula care coordination on a large scale.
- Knowledgeable of coordination of large staff and pairing of individuals based on client needs.
- Responsible for developing/facilitating procedures/processes of the program
- Lead team meetings with Senior and Junior Mentors
- Establish partner relationships
- Set activities/projects for interns
- Oversee training scheduling and coordination.
- Oversee doula professional development trainings.
- Assist citywide agencies with doula outreach and development.
- Maintain accurate doula records including but not limited to contracts and background checks.
- Ensure accurate record keeping of all doula client services rendered.
- Conduct monthly audit of all citywide site agencies.
- Assist the Citywide Oversight agency with managing all contracts, including program and fiscal reporting and management.
- Support contract, grant, agency, and service delivery compliance and risk reduction by ensuring timely and accurate documentation and data collection.
- Monitor and review documentation.
- Identify resources and develop strategies and partnerships to strengthen and enhance the program and services to program participant.
- Participate in conceptualizing program development, drafting and preparing proposals, concept papers and resource development strategies
- Develop expertise on programbased practice, evidencebased practices, research, data tracking and reporting, innovation, client input, and evaluation.
- Coordinate services and service delivery strategy in accordance Healthy Women, Healthy Future requirements and agency resources, policies, and protocols
- High School Degree or Equivalent, Bachelors and/or Master's degree, or equivalent education and experience in public health, social work, nursing, mental health counseling, marriage and family therapy
- Certified Doula and/or Completion of 27 hours Doula training within 90 Days of hire
- Two years, direct service (individual, group and family) experience in working with underserved high needs populations.
- One year of home visitation experience
- One to two years supervisory experience
- Knowledge of best, promising and evidence based Maternal & Child Health and development practices
- Excellent English language verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computerbased applications. ECR experience a plus.
- Be available to work a 40 hour work week, occasional weekends, and travel out of state.
- Evaluation and/or research experience a plus
- Bilingual: Spanish/English Preferred
- On call availability 24/7 (except for approved time off
