The HVAC Service Sales/Account Executive will be responsible for maintaining long-term relationships with existing Building Owners, Facility Managers, Property Managers and Building Operators in North Florida to assist them with their Mechanical, Electrical and Building Automation needs. They will possess the ability to make new connections quickly to assess prospective customer needs and sell technical mechanical goods and services. This position requires a supportive individual who can manage multiple priorities including marketing, specifying, estimating, influencing, closing, and executing orders of mechanical equipment and systems resulting in the development and support of key accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Work with sales manager to develop and implement plans to take advantage of sales opportunities for new and assigned accounts within territory.
- Work with existing customer base and provide HVAC system replacements and retrofit projects.
- Survey, estimate, sell, renew, and expand service agreements, including multi-year agreements, to both new and existing assigned customers.
- Develop commercial maintenance agreement proposals to include site surveys, maintenance recommendations, cost/benefit analyses, and program pricing.
- Conduct site surveys, prepare estimates, and write proposals that provide customer solutions that solve our customer’s needs.
- Pursue and follow-up on leads generated from marketing, internal leads, and networking.
- Identify and build relationships with prospect key decision makers.
- Develop and build long-term relationships with all types of clients to become the trusted advisor for HVAC solutions.
- Meet objectives for revenue and profit through sales with existing customer base as well as development of new relationships.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, customer interactions, and transactions.
- Works with service team to ensures a smooth sales transition to operations.
- Actively participate in sales meetings, workshops, and seminars to consistently grow in professional knowledge.
- Attend industry related networking functions to promote Brooks Building Solutions.
- Collaborate with team and other departments to solve the Building Operator’s needs with Mechanical, Electrical, and Building Automation System solutions.

Qualifications
- Must have a technical understanding of HVAC systems.
- The ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, equipment schedules and equipment performance requirements.
- Must be a highly-motivated strategic thinker, possess an entrepreneurial spirit, and capable of working within a team environment.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
- Proven experience in applying principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. Hunter sales mentality preferred.
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
- Communicates effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communications and interactive skills.
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
- Valid driver’s license.
