About the Opportunity
Brooks & Nelson, LLC is seeking a skilled drafter to join their team, responsible for producing high-quality drawings for piping and mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and Hydraulic Grade Lines (HGLs) from engineering sketches.
- Assist engineers in creating, modifying, and finalizing piping systems and pump station drawings.
- Support engineers by performing material take-offs, developing bills of quantities, and preparing equipment lists and cost estimates.
- Conduct site visits to measure and document equipment and system layouts.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of drafting experience in a relevant field.
- Formal drafting training from a recognized institution.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D.
- Strong computer literacy, particularly in MS Excel and Word.
- A valid driver's license with a willingness to travel when necessary.
