Job Description
The Financial Analyst II controls and maintains the general ledger system and sub-system interfaces and is responsible for the accurate and timely production of financial statements, analysis of GL balances and other hospital data. The Financial Analyst II will provide assistance to the Director of Finance by providing continuous and timely input for the prioritization of staff work assignments through suggestions relative to the effective delegation of activities.
Education And Credentials
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration required. MBA – Master of Business Administration; Advanced degree or certification in Finance Accounting, IT or related field; will consider sufficient progressive and cumulative experience in advanced financial function(s) preferred.
Experience
4 years of experience in finance or accounting, 4 years of experience in Microsoft Office including MS Excel advanced functions, 4 years of experience in Decision Support Database management and or working with large sets of data, and 4 years of experience in General Ledger, Revenue and Billing preferred coupled with data modeling, relational databases and health data analytics required. 4 years of experience in healthcare industry preferred.
