Brookshire Brothers Pharmacy is hiring a motivated, dependable, customer-oriented pharmacy technician to work full time at our NEW location in Huntington, TX. Must be a registered pharmacy technician (or technician trainee, rate may differ) licensed to work as such in the state of Texas. Experience preferred, good attitude a must. Family friendly hours, CLOSED SUNDAY.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain medical records and ensure proper intake of patient information.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient service and care in a hospital setting.
- Stay updated on medical terminology and pharmacy regulations to ensure compliance.
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Strong oral communication skills in order to communicate with customers and prescribers regarding medication, prescription orders, insurance problems, etc.
- Phone etiquette
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize duties
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
