Role Overview
As Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead day-to-day maintenance operations, ensuring the property remains in excellent condition and resident satisfaction remains high. You will oversee staff, manage vendors, and maintain compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and maintain all buildings, grounds, and amenities
- Respond to service requests and emergency maintenance calls
- Oversee apartment make-readies and unit turns
- Train and manage maintenance, custodial, and grounds team members
- Manage inventory and maintenance budgets
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed
- Ensure adherence to OSHA, EPA, and Fair Housing regulations
- Deliver excellent customer service to residents and guests
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a multifamily Maintenance Supervisor
- Strong HVAC knowledge and EPA Certification (Type II or Universal) required. CPO a plus.
- Proficient in general apartment maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry
- Ability to respond to after-hours maintenance needs
- Basic hand tools and reliable transportation required
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including walking and working in outdoor conditions
