Project Coordinator – Data Center Operations

We are seeking a Project Coordinator to join our team and support day-to-day operations within our client's data center environments. The ideal candidate will have experience working in data centers and possess a foundational understanding of key operational tasks, including racking, stacking, and cabling. Required Skills & Experience:
- Basic understanding of data center operations, including hardware installation (racking, stacking) and cabling.
- Prior experience in a data center environment or similar technical environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Basic problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Familiarity with project management principles and tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, MS Project) or willingness to learn.
- Workplace safety certification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing and coordinating small to mid-sized projects within data center operations.
- Oversee tasks related to hardware installation, including racking, stacking, and cabling.
- Track project timelines, deliverables, and milestones to ensure they are met on schedule.
- Work closely with technical teams to monitor progress and address any roadblocks.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and safety protocols in all data center activities.
- Communicate project updates and statuses to relevant stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
- Assist with resource allocation and scheduling of tasks related to ongoing data center projects.
