We are seeking an individual to work with a Fortune 50 Broadcast Media & Entertainment leader located in New York, New York. As the Lab Technician, you will work closely with the Lab & Network Manager to build, maintain, and support the lab environments essential for testing across multiple platforms. In this role, you will play an integral part of the Global Quality Engineering group, support their Network & Lab operations, which provides the essential infrastructure for testing our applications.
Minimum Qualifications :
- 3 years of experience in a streaming testing lab or similar environment, including hardware assembly, network cabling, and device management.
- Proficiency in configuring network switches / routers, VPN’s , setting up and testing various types of network and AV connections and understanding network security best practices.
- Strong background in setting up and managing AV equipment, particularly in a lab environment.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, network, and AV issues, with a focus on maintaining uninterrupted testing conditions.
- Proven ability to work well with technical leads, engineering teams, and external vendors, ensuring alignment on project needs.
- Ability to maintain organized records and implement best practices in equipment management and documentation.
- Strong attention to detail & cable management skills.
- Must be able to lift and moves equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
