Role: OCM Specialist
Location: Frankfort, KY (Onsite first few weeks, then Hybrid)

SUMMARY
Brooksource is currently seeking an Organizational Change Management (OCM) Specialist to support a large-scale, multi-year capital IT modernization initiative involving the implementation of a new system. This project aims to enhance data and processes, requiring a skilled OCM professional to drive successful adoption across the organization.
A successful candidate’s expertise will be crucial in navigating the transition to the new system, minimizing disruption, and fostering a culture of acceptance and engagement among our senior leaders and employees. We envision a comprehensive OCM strategy that addresses communication, training, stakeholder buy-in, and potential resistance to change.
We are particularly interested in experience with large-scale IT implementations and/or IT modernization, the ability to tailor OCM solutions to our specific needs and agency culture, and a track record of achieving measurable results. RESPONSIBILITES
- Transition the OCM coordination responsibilities from current OCM lead
- Collaborate with training lead to organize engagement activities and forums to maintain a sense of community and teamwork as required
- Work closely with project PMO to recognize and celebrate milestones achieved and to support a positive outlook and motivation among the Executive Directors and their staff members
- Work closely with project leadership to device coaching plan and/or Implement resilience training programs to help staff members cope with the stress and uncertainties associated with project delays and/or onboarding of new scope and functionality
- Foster a culture of adaptability and resilience within the organization
- Continuously and proactively assess the impact of the changes on staff
- Lead communication efforts and oversee the timely delivery of Granicus campaigns designed per communication plan
- Work closely with communications team to create compelling messaging that articulates the benefits of the change and addresses potential concerns
- Keep staff informed about upcoming changes and deliverables
- Develop/update comprehensive change management plan that addresses the people, processes, and technology aspect of change
- Build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders to foster a positive change environment, and devise and implement strategies to mitigate stakeholder resistance
- Collaborate with training branch to design and deliver training programs to equip staff with the skills and knowledge needed to operate within doris
- Proactively identify and coordinate with project leadership to address sources of resistance to change
- Facilitate sessions with leadership to ensure alignment on the messaging and actions needed to address staff resistance
- Engage project leaders using Change Champions program. Identify and empower individuals within each office who can serve as advocates for the change, helping to address resistance at the grassroots level
- Define and monitor Key Performance Indicators to measure the success of change, and conduct regular assessments to collect feedback and make adjustments to the OCM plan
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to OCM activities
- Compile monthly reports on the progress of OCM initiative for management review
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field
- Proven experience in organizational change management
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to develop and execute change management plans

***Note: This position will be required to report to the Frankfort, KY building 4-5 days/ week for the first couple weeks. After that, the days possibly could drop to 2-3 days a week depending on projects.
