What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Tax Accountant position at Brose Group?
Your tasks
- Support preparation of all company tax workpapers for year-end tax provision accounting for both IFRS and US GAAP
- Accurately maintain real and personal property records in multiple databases and systems
- Assist with transfer pricing report preparation and prepare corporate intercompany allocation computations
- Support with all US, state and international tax audits
- Assist with special compliance projects including R&D tax credits, domestic production activities deductions, unicap calculations, fixed assets accounting, etc.
- Principally responsible for all company US Census reporting
- Assist with preparation, review, and analysis of company sales & use tax and VAT transactions and related filings
- Assist with development and implementation of improved processes for efficient and accurate calculation of information for tax compliance and reporting
- Assist in working with various government agencies or committees to secure and support grants and subsidies for the North American Region.
Your Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from a four-year college or university is preferred or demonstrated equivalent experience. Current CPA, candidate or equivalent is preferred.
- At least two to four years of relevant experience with demonstrated success. Public accounting experience preferred.
