Tax Accountant

JOB RESPONSIBLITIES:

• Personal Property Tax Compliance
• File Returns
• Assessment Review
• Appeal Assessment
• Review Tax Bills
• Prepare Check Requests
• Invoice Customers
• Reconcile State Balances to G/L
• Upload invoice journals and check requests onto ERP
• Assist in Customer Inquiries and Audit Defense
• Special Projects

THE SELECTION CRITERIA FOR THIS POSITION ARE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• Reconciliation experience preferred
• Strong analytical skills
• Problem solving skill
• Ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
• Strong attention to detail/accuracy
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and listening)
• Self-motivated and independent
• Proficient in Excel (Pivot Tables, V Lookup)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Education:

• Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

• Tax experience: 8 years (Required)
• Property Tax: 8 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• CPA (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:
