Availability: This is a full time position. The Foster & Volunteer Coordinator works Tuesday - Saturday from 9:00AM - 5:00PM. Brother Wolf is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year as animals need daily care.

Position Overview
If you have a love for animals, and a penchant for connecting people, the Foster and Volunteer Coordinator role may be perfect for you! The Foster and Volunteer Coordinator is the first contact for Brother Wolf's extensive network of volunteers, including the foster homes that the majority of the animals in our care spend time in before adoption. This is a critical role to the organization's mission as it connects community members wishing to contribute to our life-saving work with the best fit for their skills and passion. This person serves to walk each volunteer and foster through the orientation and training process and maintain positive relationships throughout their time serving as a Brother Wolf volunteer, providing resources, supplies, advice, oversight opportunities, and correction when needed.

Required:
- Must have affection for animals and care about people.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, customer service, and time management skills.
- Experience and comfortability using Google Suite, databases, writing professional emails, and speaking on the phone. Experience with ShelterLuv and GalaxyDigital is a plus.
- Desire to foster and nurture relationships and public relations beneficial to the organization and our programs.
- Familiarity with companion animals, knowledge of their behavior or experience working with or volunteering with a rescue group, humane society, foster care involvement, or other animal welfare agency is a plus.
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be comfortable kneeling, crouching, reaching overhead and lifting, carrying up to 50 lbs and pulling up to 150 lbs.
