JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for leading, initiating, creating, and delivering staff development plans; departmental communication strategies; cross-functional work processes, tools, resources, and reports; and special projects that support the department’s strategic goals and departmental priorities.
POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Lead, initiate, create, and implement staff development plans for the department based on strategic goals and priorities.
- Serve as the system administrator, oversee the work of departmental contributors, and develop content for intra-departmental information sharing platform.
- Lead and work independently to make proposals and execute plans with the goal of fostering staff development, department performance, communication, and culture.
- Execute onboarding for new hires, and summer hires, and manage the department’s new employee experience for the first six months.
- Advise the management team, and provide and coordinate job skills training for staff based on identified needs and priorities.
- Lead special projects to promote departmental priorities and accomplish objectives.
- Collaborate with managers and staff from different marketing teams on shared work processes and platforms to resolve issues and streamline procedures.
- Identify staff development needs for individuals and groups of employees and make recommendations to managers; provide individual remedial training of staff.
- Complete other projects as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent advanced education.
- Must have three years-experience in marketing, sales, education, insurance or a related field.
- Four or more years work experience in at least two of the following: marketing, sales, customer service, education and training, and insurance is desired.
- Leadership or training experience is desired.
