JOB SUMMARY
Responsible to develop and manage the SQA team within the Experience Design department, providing leadership and oversight for all aspects of SQA of user-centered design and development of corporate applications, including UI automation, integration and unit testing, functional testing, non-functional testing, risk assessment, acceptance criteria elicitation, and tool selection. Responsible for identifying and actively promoting context appropriate development, testing and project management for ongoing initiatives, ensuring adherence to the Company’s business goals and objectives.

• Responsible for the design and implementation of SQA and testing practices and standards for use within all application development initiatives.
• Facilitate inter-team communication to provide awareness of risks, quality gaps, and context appropriate practice discoveries throughout the development lifecycle.
• Provide technology leadership in the research and selection of new tools and methods to support SQA and application development workflow.
• Develop and manage the skills and personnel within the SQA team, ensuring a proper level of integration with all application development teams.
• Work with product owners and analysts to help with requirement gathering and identifying associated acceptance criteria.
• Participate in the design and implementation of resource limited non-functional testing.
• Oversee SQA method implementation and tool selection for all application development projects.
• Champion live testing and system monitoring and deliver key quality metrics to all application development teams.
• Design and implement non-functional testing with high capital cost or restricted resources set up a service model to be shared by all agile teams (for example load testing - security testing - usability testing – platform compatibility testing as a service).
• Develop training and work with development teams to drive SQA best practices and a quality awareness mindset into their daily processes.
• Complete other projects as assigned.

• Proven project management skills are required
• Proven ability to work in and foster a team-oriented environment is essential.
• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Effectively interface with external contacts, Brotherhood employees, managers, and department staff members.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or equivalent degree is required.
• Five or more years providing SQA leadership in a user-centered design and development capacity, ranging from content-focused Web site design through enterprise application development and post-launch activities required.
• Experience leading Information Technology projects in multi-team, multi-disciplined environments required.
• MBA with management emphasis is desired.
• CPCU designation and CTFL certification is desired.
• Previous Information Technology management experience is desired.
