Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mixing Supervisor to oversee the mixing operations in our ice cream manufacturing plant. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient and consistent preparation of ice cream bases, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with company standards. The Mixing Supervisor will lead a team, manage production schedules, and collaborate with other departments to maintain smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of mixing operators to ensure the timely and accurate preparation of ice cream bases and mix formulations.
- Monitor and maintain the operation of mixing equipment, ensuring proper functionality and cleanliness.
- Ensure that all recipes and formulations are followed accurately, adhering to product quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections of raw materials to verify quality and consistency before use in production.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the mixing process, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and sanitation guidelines in the mixing area.
- Monitor production schedules and adjust as needed to meet demand or address production issues.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to ensure their skill development and adherence to company protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of production, ingredients, equipment maintenance, and any other required documentation.
- Work closely with other departments, including quality control, maintenance, and logistics, to ensure the efficient flow of materials and finished products.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance mixing processes, reduce waste, and optimize efficiency.
- Address and resolve any employee concerns, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in food manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of ice cream manufacturing processes, ingredients, and quality control standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with HACCP, GMP, and other food safety standards.
- Proficient in using mixing and production equipment, as well as basic computer systems for record-keeping.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position, with occasional overtime required based on production needs.
- Work in a temperature-controlled environment with exposure to cold conditions.
- Regular shifts, with potential weekend or evening work as necessary.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
