Health Information Management Assistant
Part Time Day shift
$16.50- $16.70/hr depending on experience

The Health Information Management Assistant will function as a member of the Health Information Management team assisting with administrative duties, data collection and submission and overall processes of the medical record department. We are always looking for positive, dependable, caring individuals to join our team to meet the growing demand in our community for quality care.
Health Information Management Assistant duties include:
- Audit the medical record-both current and discharge chart
- Logging Physician Progress notes into Microsoft Excel
- Daily correspondence to Primary MD of discharge patients
- Logging Physician visits into our database
- Daily Census data entry
- Paying close attention to detail
- Microsoft Excel and Word Experience helpful
- Knowledge of MDS helpful
- This is not a medical billing position
- Flexible with daily routine
- ICD 10 coding experience helpful, but not necessary
