SUMMARY
The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) is responsible for supporting the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and overseeing the daily operations of the nursing department. This role ensures compliance with regulatory guidelines, enhances workforce development, and improves nursing efficiency while prioritizing patient safety and quality care. The ADON serves as the primary decision-maker in the absence of the DON and leads key initiatives related to compliance, staff management, and operational effectiveness.
