As a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant, you will play a vital role in our team's efforts to assess and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in children.
Responsibilities and Requirements
- Implement treatment plans or protocols as directed by speech-language pathologists.
- Document residents/students' progress toward meeting established treatment objectives.
- Assist speech-language pathologists in the remediation or development of speech and language skills.
- Support duties such as preparing materials, keeping records, maintaining supplies, and scheduling activities.
Essential Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university including completion of 24 semester hours as specified by the Board from a Council for Higher Education accredited institution.
- HIV AID / HIPAA Certification.
- CPR/First Aid Certification.
