Minimum Education
- High School diploma required. Associate's degree preferred.
- An equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.
- One years of experience in project management and IT procurement or experience with asset management tools.
- Experience with inventory systems (i.e. TeamDynamix, FileMaker, FreshDesk)
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and conditional formatting
- Comprehension of Microsoft Active Directory
- Database Administration
Daily - 40%:
- Maintains and monitors IT assets throughout their lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning/disposal
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of IT equipment (using Team Dynamix)
- Ensures the inventory structure is organized and aligns with business need
- Coordinates the collection of IT assets from terminated employees
- Ensures conditional formatting is used during excel usage
- Maintains warranty database and verifies repair eligibility for devices in IT inventory
- Assists in defining and maintaining categorization, labeling, and storage procedures for IT assets
- Creates and updates asset records for newly received IT equipment
- Assigns and labels assets in accordance with company/IT asset management policies
- Receives, scans and disperses assets to correct campuses.
- Populates templates provided for bulk upload of new and existing assets
- Attends and completes required training and inventory meetings
- Sends disposals to fixed asset managers when necessary
- Collaborates with IT team members to ensure timely provisioning of equipment for new hires and projects
- Conducts regular physical audits and scans of IT equipment to ensure consistency between physical inventory and system records.
- Assists in annual fixed asset audits both departmental and college wide.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
- Requires the application of specific IT concepts within area of technical expertise. Must be proficient in creating, editing, updating, and deleting records
- Ability to manage own time and follow established priorities while participating as an active team member.
- Requires the application of general functional knowledge and technical skills.
- Ability to interact and effectively communicate with a diverse employee and student population.
- Ability to understand the operational goals, policies and objectives of own work and job standards.
- Ability to work alone or within a team.
- Proven experience in inventory management, preferably with IT equipment.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools for reporting and documentation
