POSITION TITLE: PATIENT SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE (RCM DEPARTMENT)
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt
SUMMARY: The RCM Patient Service Representative works as part of the revenue cycle department performing insurance verification and clerical duties necessary to ensure that all financial aspects related to insurance are accurate and up to date before the patient's visit.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- A minimum of five (5) years' experience in a medical facility and/or related customer service and insurance verification field.
- Strong Computer literate skills.
- Strong Communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to relate to patients, through familiarity with medical terminology.
- Strong communication skills, both in-person and over the phone, to effectively interact with staff, patients, the public, and medical professionals at BCOM.
- The ability to effectively manage diverse medical office responsibilities, including consistently and accurately performing basic mathematical functions.
