Responsibilities

Exadata

• Software and firmware maintenance of the Exadata database servers, storage servers including upgrades and patching, resolving security vulnerabilities.
• Automation - planning and automating patches across Exadata, database nodes and cluster.
• Integration of Exadata monitoring and escalation into existing IT monitoring and actionable events and solutions.
• Provide and implement performance tuning recommendations of all components in the Exadata.
• Working / Coordinating with Oracle FEs for any hardware maintenance. Powering on / off DB nodes / cell nodes for hardware maintenance like predictive DIMM failure or online disk replacement.
• Writing scripts to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Working with DBAs to review the usage metrics and recommend optimization of resources as part of consolidation.
• Performance monitoring using built-in Exadata tools OSwatcher
• Plan for and support semiannual BCP test.

Salary Range

150K to $170K

BBH's compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing. The anticipated base salary range(s) shown above are only for the indicated location(s) and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations. Base salaries may vary based on factors such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.
