Brown & Brown is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our growing team in Columbia, KY.
The Administrative Assistant supports leadership by coordinating client and prospect deliverables, organizing schedules, and assisting with sales initiatives, presentations, and event planning. Additionally, the Administrative Assistant provides administrative support, including managing travel arrangements, preparing proposals, tracking expenses, and facilitating communication among team members and external partners
How You Will Contribute:
Assist leaders with coordinating, organizing client and prospect deliverables to include calendars, timely follow-ups, and accomplishing to-do lists
- Support sales initiatives through planning, research, and analysis
- Work with leaders on projects including PowerPoint presentations
- Assist leader with the planning, organization, and execution of trade show events and other events
- Prepare written proposals, presentations, for prospects
- Assist with travel arrangements, appointments, for leaders
- Work closely with the sales team, assisting with preparation of sales meeting presentations. May eventually extend to all functions related to sales tracking system.
- Act as the point of contact among managers, team members, and other external partners.
- Track and submit business expenses incurred by leaders
Skills & Experience to Be Successful:
Proficient with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and ability to learn new software quickly
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently, proactive working style
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and a proactive approach to meeting requirements
- Ability to travel
