General Responsibilities:
- Perform routine clerical tasks including typing, data entry, filing, and operating office machines.
- Answer phones, routes callers, and take and delivers messages.
- Insurance policy processing, checking, and distributing in a timely manner.
- Handling weekly deposits.
- Sorting and handling incoming mail for all Gulf States offices.
- Office supply inventory management.
- Maintains files, records, or reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Exceptional telephone demeanor.
- Ability to create and maintain a friendly and welcoming environment for guests/customers.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Well-organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to collaborate and work well with others.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a business or financial related discipline.
- 1-3 years’ experience in a similar position
