We are Seeking an EVP Managing Director – Wholesale to join our growing team in San Antonio, TX.
As an EVP/Managing Director of our San Antonio, Texas office, you will drive P&L performance, define the strategic direction, and spearhead market expansion in Personal Lines, Commercial Lines and Premium Financing. Responsibilities include developing and implementing a winning business plan, recruiting and cultivating top talent, and building dynamic teams to achieve consistent and significant growth. This position is onsite in our San Antonio, TX office.
This role is posted in the surrounding states of Texas but please note that this is not a remote role and you will need to relocate to be in the San Antonio, TX office.
How You Will Contribute
- Execute a strategic roadmap to expand markets, increase revenue, and enhance customer relationships.
- Build strong retail and carrier partnerships to drive growth and elevate brand visibility.
- Optimize P&L performance through data-driven decision-making.
- Improve margins and cost efficiency while driving revenue growth.
- Lead as a player-coach, setting high expectations and driving performance through coaching, accountability, and clear goals.
- Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Attract, develop, and retain top talent to build a high-performing team.
- Leverage data and innovation to drive long-term value
- Utilize financial analytics to identify trends and capitalize on opportunities.
Licenses and Certifications:
- Valid insurance license(s) required
Skills & Experience to Be Successful
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, insurance, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10 years of experience in Insurance (Wholesale, Retail, Carrier) with strong industry connections and proven ability to drive growth.
- Proven leadership experience in sales, operations, and strategic growth.
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills to effectively lead teams and engage with stakeholders.
- Onsite presence required; travel up to 50% as needed.
