Brown Campbell Co. is a trusted supplier of specialty metal products, committed to efficiency and accuracy in warehouse operations. We are looking for a detail-oriented Material Handler in Fairfield, Ohio to fulfill customer orders, operate material handling equipment, and ensure inventory is properly stored and accounted for. This position will be for 2nd shift Monday-Thursday 1:30pm-10:30pm and Friday 12pm-6pm.
Job Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret work orders to accurately pull materials for shipments.
- Operate a side loader and forklift to retrieve materials from warehouse aisles.
- Use a tape measure to confirm correct material sizes before staging orders.
- Identify and resolve issues with misplaced or improperly stored materials.
- Maintain organization and accuracy in pulling materials to prevent shipping errors.
- Assist in general warehouse duties as needed.
- Ensure compliance with warehouse safety procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Highschool Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Prior experience in material handling or order fulfillment preferred.
- Forklift experience required (side loader experience a plus).
- Ability to read a tape measure and work with precise measurements.
- Strong problem-solving skills for locating missing or misplaced inventory.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically active role.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
