We are seeking a Client Accounting Associate to join our team!
Client Accounting Associates are responsible to Client Accounting Supervisors and Partners. Client Accounting Associates compute, classify, and record numerical data to keep client financial records complete. Associates perform any combination of routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining client accounting records.
What your day looks like :
- Daily interactions with clients.
- Prepares weekly and bi-weekly payrolls for clients; Prepares monthly, quarterly, and year-end payroll reports and 1099's.
- Responsible for accounts payable, vendor payments, and other bookkeeping tasks.
- Prepares monthly financial reports, statements and other documents as needed.
- Performs bank reconciliations.
- Troubleshoots and responds to calls from clients regarding issues that may include bookkeeping, QuickBooks, Peachtree, payroll, and CBS.
- Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
- Operates computers programmed with accounting software to record, store, and analyze information.
- Effectively uses various technologies to perform job duties.
- Assists with tax return preparation as needed.
