Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cost estimating, analysis, and control activities for complex projects.
- Support EVMS and project controls systems, identifying cost and schedule trends for management attention.
- Supervise schedule development, maintenance, and monitoring activities.
- Oversee cost engineering analysis and control activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines.
- Provide innovative solutions to cost engineering and schedule guidance issues.
- Review and prepare cost engineering and planning presentations for project management.
- Ensure the successful completion of project objectives, contributing to the development of advanced concepts and techniques.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in project controls and project management, including cost estimating, cost control, and project scheduling.
- For Control Account Manager (CAM) roles, manage project budgets, implement corrective actions, and provide detailed and accurate status reports.
Qualifications
• BA/BS degree in a related field and 11 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Typical experience ranges from 11 - 15 years or more.
• Strong PC skills to include Microsoft software; automated accounting and cost management systems and/or planning and scheduling experience.
• Experience using Primavera P6 and Deltek Cobra is required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated expertise in the concepts of Project Controls, Cost Engineering, Scheduling, Earned Value Management and Estimating.
