We are looking for an experienced Insurance Management Professional/Director of Insurance Operations to lead our insurance underwriting, claims, and workers' compensation departments. This crucial role involves managing the financial and operational aspects of our insurance processes, playing a pivotal role in transitioning to a self-insured model, and enhancing our insurance offerings in the market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee underwriting, service, and claims departments, ensuring operational excellence, financial stability, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Manage financial aspects of insurance operations, focusing on accurate premium tracking and allocation.
- Implement and refine claims processing procedures for efficiency and accuracy.
- Negotiate terms with brokers and representatives for Business Insurance Coverage, achieving optimal conditions.
- Develop, modify, and execute insurance policies and contracts, utilizing in-depth underwriting expertise.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure a holistic approach to risk management and compliance.
- Conduct educational sessions for internal stakeholders on insurance operations, compliance requirements, and contract obligations.
- Prepare detailed risk management reports for the executive leadership team.
- Lead claims resolution, manage open claim reserves, and maintain effective communication with all parties involved.
Qualifications:
