Brown Manufacturing is a growing company that primarily works with software and machinery that automates steps in the DTG (Direct-To-Garment), DTF (Direct-To-Film) and Sublimation processes. Its engineers work in an exciting, challenging, and dynamic environment that is highly rewarding.
Position: Full Stack Developer
As a Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for maintaining, improving, and creating systems that Brown Manufacturing provides. This includes Front-End and Back-End design, development, coding, testing, and deployment. (70%)
You would participate in meetings that follow the SCRUM (Agile Development) guidelines, including the Daily Standup, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective. (20%)
You would also be expected to provide customer technical support and onboard new customers for those relevant systems. You would typically be considered “on-call” (during normal hours, no after-hours work) 1-3 days a week, with a typically low influx of calls. (10%)
This is a full-time position, largely in-person with opportunities for remote work.
Tech Stack:
- C#
- WPF Applications that serve as the user interface for hardware interaction or the client application for the BDLinx software, a process control software for the printing process (as well as various internal tools)
- .NET / .NET Core backend for internal and customer facing websites
- WCF API servers, both public and private
- React
- Typescript flavor, largely class components
- CSS- Currently no CSS compiler in use
- Basic HTML/Javascript/Typescript (Legacy)
- Legacy portions of site are using pure Javascript/Typescript without use of React
- C /C Board-level communication for machinery
- SQL Server
- AWS
- Visual Studio
- GIT
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other related degree (can be replaced with 2-4 years of work experience)
- Experience with at least two (2) of the technical skills listed above in a working environment (1 years of experience)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of work experience with at least four (4) of the technical skills listed above
