What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Stack Developer position at HT Hackney?
Responsible for the development and maintenance of the H.T. Hackney Web Portal, REST API, and internal database. Ability to work interdepartmentally to understand business concepts and integrate them programmatically to meet the needs of the company. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field. Two years of experience in Full Stack development. Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills. Must reside in the Grand Rapids, MI area or be able to commute to Grand Rapids, MI for work. This is an in-office position only.
Preferred experience with PHP, JavaScript, React, HTML5/CSS, and Python. Deep understanding of REST API concepts, server side programming concepts, Unix environments, and SQL optimizations.
Beneficial experience includes, Bootstrap, AWS (API Gateway, CloudFormation, EC2), Postman, VSCode, IBM System i RPGLE, DataDog, IBM DB2, and Cron.
