What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Office Manager position at Browning Contractors Inc?
Browning Contractors, Inc. is a leading underground construction company for the Central Valley. We are looking for an individual with at least 2-4 years Accounting and Administrative experience. It is vital that applicants have the ability to establish and maintain working relationship with our management team, employees, vendors, clients.
Essential Functions:
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices
- Matching and filing invoices/Reconciling vendor statements
- Tracking of all subcontractor documents
- Vendor set up; maintain all vendor and subcontractor files
- Process 1099’s at year end
- Update and create various Excel spreadsheets
- Generating reports and various other accounting functions
- All aspects of HR; on-boarding, termination, payroll
- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees and supervisors
- Ensure compliance with all relevant federal, state and local employment laws and regulations
- Must be bilingual in Spanish; able to speak, read and write
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
