Renovation Manager Job Description

We seek an experienced renovation manager to handle our company's pool renovation division's continued growth. Renovation Manager Job Responsibilities:

The Renovation Manager's responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• The key focus will be on swimming pool renovation sales and management of the renovation division of Browning Pools & Spas.

• Management of the Renovation department team.

• Provide quality client service in all assigned tasks while always upholding Browning Pools & Spas values.

• Ensure that the pricing for jobs sold for repair and renovations are within the appropriate margins to cover unforeseen expenses associated with each job and ultimately maximize profit.

• Develop and implement sales strategies that are effective in the existing market to grow the business's market share.

• Meet with the renovation foreman & renovation team to review each project before the start of construction with continued communication throughout to ensure all aspects are accounted for & clearly communicated within each renovation contract.

• Assist with securing applicable project permits, followed through later with scheduled inspections

• Meet with clients before, during & after renovation to achieve high customer satisfaction.

• Mitigate and direct customer issues professionally.

• Demand excellent quality of workmanship.

• Site supervision of crew and subcontractors when needed.

• Determine resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) within budgetary limitations.

• Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to meet deadlines.

• Maintain a high level of cleanliness in the office, vehicles, and client work sites.

• Manage multiple renovation projects at one time, prepare renovation progress reports for all projects daily, and manage all communication with crew, subcontractors, and clients.

• Create & maintain relationships with subcontractors.

• Responsible for scheduling renovation crews & subcontractors

• Communicate with Browning owner's progress and any necessary modifications of plans.

• Schedule, coordinate, and collect client payments.

Renovation Manager Requirements:

• Knowledge of the pool industry and phases of a swimming pool renovation - or construction/home improvement experience - we will train the right individual.

• Knowledge of swimming pool equipment.

• Knowledge of water chemistry.

• Knowledge of swimming pool renovation products, i.e., quartz, pebble, tile, concrete, pavers, vinyl liner replacements, etc.

• An emphasis on a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the willingness to always be learning.

• Renovation sales experience in residential swimming pool construction is preferred but optional.

• Experience and proficiency in writing proposals & communicating with clients.

• Excellent organizational skills.

• Communication skills.

• Managerial skills.

• A vehicle and a valid driver's license in good standing are required.

• Team building skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
