We have an immediate need for a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant in our Las Vegas office. We are seeking a candidate with general administrative experience from a professional services environment. This role will handle a variety of responsibilities each day supporting the legal and government relations policy professionals in our Las Vegas office as well as general administrative assistance to the office at large.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner
- Welcome visitors in a warm and friendly manner, direct them accordingly, manage parking validations
- Maintain professional appearance of reception area
- Operate standard office equipment
- Keep detailed and accurate records of visitor requests and of calls received
- Organize and maintain a schedule of daily events and conference room bookings through Microsoft Outlook
- Compose emails directed office wide that alert employees to events of the day as well as incoming visitors
- Assist Office Administrator and the Facilities Coordinator with a variety of tasks
- Provide video conferencing set-up support for meetings held in conference rooms
- Assist Office Administrator and Facilities Coordinator with office events
- Assist Facilities Coordinator in working with property management and office maintenance needs
- Schedule and manage calendar for conference rooms as well as for attorneys and policy professionals when requested
- Timely and accurate submission of expense reports when providing administrative support
- Booking and arranging travel for attorneys and policy professionals when providing administrative support
- Other administrative tasks as requested
Required and Preferred Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar professional environment
- Excellent communication skills and professional, friendly, customer-focused attitude
- Must be flexible and able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment with an evolving mix of responsibilities
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle and prioritize at times, conflicting needs and deadlines
- Strong PC skills and a high degree of proficiency within Microsoft Office and a comfort level to pick up new software
- Must be able to maintain a consistent schedule and be highly reliable
Compensation and Benefits: Brownstein offers a benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401k match, profit sharing, and vacation/sick/personal time off, in addition this role pays overtime for hours worked above 40 per week. We are offering salary for this role, ranging from $55,000-$62,000.
