Renaissance at Lakeshore in Port Arthur, TX operated by Brownstone Residential and is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor. The Maintenance Supervisor will perform general maintenance and repairs and apply specialized skills in areas such as HVAC, plumbing, make readies and electrical.

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for the following:

• Responsible for the daily repair and upkeep of the assigned apartment community
• Hands on department of one
• Oversees vendors when used
• Preparing vacant apartment homes for new residents
• Responding to work orders in occupied apartments
• Grounds maintenance and refuse control
• HVAC troubleshooting and repairs
• Electrical troubleshooting and repairs
• Lock installation and repairs
• Minor plumbing
• Minor painting
• Minor carpentry
• Appliance installation and repairs
• Swimming pool maintenance and repairs

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1-2 years general maintenance experience
• EPA or HVAC certified
• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, and carpentry.
• Valid driver’s license

Hours: 8:30am - 5:30pm & on call after hours emergency's

Physical Demands:

1. The ability to frequently lift, carry, push or pull 25 to 50 lbs. in a correct and safe manner.

2. Physically able to climb numerous flights of stairs on a daily basis.

3. Stooping: Frequently bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist, requiring full use of the lower extremities and back muscles.

4. Kneeling: Frequently bending legs at knees to come to rest on knee or knees.

5. Crouching: Frequently bending body downward and forward by bending legs and spine.

6. Reaching: Frequently extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.

7. Handling: Frequently seizing, holding, grasping, turning or otherwise working with hands.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour

Education:

• Apartment Maintenance: 2 years (Preferred)

• Port Arthur, TX 77640: Relocate before starting work (Required)
